This German cello has a label indicating it was made in the famous violin-making town of Mittenwaldmade but it also could have been made near the German/Czech border. There are no cracks or repairs but there is some varnish distress on the bass side and some dings here and there . The pegs have been adjusted, new soundpost and bridge. Rather plain maple back and ribs. Strung with Thomastik Spirocore C/G and Jargar D/A, this cello has a warm resonant voice with good depth.
